The seal guarantees customer protection, transparent conditions of participation and binding standards for our course participants.

IBH is an approved institution of professional further education under the law of employment promotion. In order to obtain approval, IBH proves during an inspection procedure that it fulfils the requirements of the bylaw on recognition of, and admission to further education. The inspection is conducted by the Hanseatic Agency of Certification.

Whoever wants to study in Germany has to give proof of his/her sufficient language profi-ciency in order to be admitted to a specialized field of study. This proof can be produced by the TestDaF Exam (Test German as a Foreign Language), which is offered by IBH. The TestDaF Institute designs the TestDaF Exam and conducts the exam corrections.

Professional Association of German as a Foreign Language (FADAF)

FADAF is a merger of institutions and natural persons involved in teaching and research of German as a Foreign/Second Language (GFL) in the Federal Republic of Germany. FADAF cooperates with numerous public institutions such as the German Academic Exchange Ser-vice (DAAD) or the Conference of University Presidents, and supervises the German Lan-guage Exam for Admission to Colleges and Universities (DSH). FADAF aims to promote the acquisition of the German language, and to encourage intercultural encounters. In particular, it is committed to the understanding of foreign cultures. Moreover, FADAF aims to foster the linguistic competence of foreign students in Germany, to promote GFL as an academic sub-ject, and to articulate the concerns of those teaching GFL as well as to support the training of instructors, and to promote the new generation of academics in the field of GFL.
