Supplemetary Course: Medicine

Aqua

The AQUA Migration Academic Program of the Otto Benecke Foundation is designed for immigrants who have graduated from a post-secondary institution in their country of origin.

The supplementary course Medicine prepares immigrated doctors for the Kenntnisstandprüfung or Gleichstellungsprüfung.

Participation in the AQUA Migration Academic Program is open to candidates regardless of age, academic degree (college or university), nationality and length of unemployment.

Next course: April 1, 2012 (duration 12 months).

The course comprises the following modules:

a three-month special language course at IBH in Hamburg,

a six-month practical training at the student's home place with three two-day seminars in Hamburg,

a three-month stage at IBH which prepares for the Kenntnisstandprüfung. The stage imparts medical knowledge and special language as well as job application training.
